New York, NY – November 9, 2010 – PowerTrunk Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Teltronic S.A.U. (Spain) and Kenwood USA Corp., Communications Sector have mutually agreed to market Kenwood P25 subscribers and PowerTrunk P25 infrastructure systems to domestic and select international public safety agencies. This agreement allows public safety organizations the ability to implement interoperable end-to-end IP digital trunked networks that are scalable, reliable and P25 compliant.

The agreement states that Kenwood USA Corporation will provide its P25 mobile and portable subscriber units as required to PowerTrunk Inc. and PowerTrunk Inc. will provide its P25 infrastructure systems as required to Kenwood USA Corporation. Both companies will provide turn-key P25 LMR solutions for governmental public safety agencies.

“We’re adding PowerTrunk products because its P25 LMR infrastructure system is end-to-end IP, 100% P25 compliant and software upgradeable to P25 Phase 2,” said John North, General Manager, Kenwood Communications Systems Division. “When coupled with Kenwood subscriber units, customers will benefit from a best-in-class solution that is ready for implementation and future proof.”
